Andrew Garfield

Andrew Russell Garfield is an American actor, producer and director born in Los Angeles California. Garfield is well-known for his performances in movies including The Social Network (2010) The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and Hacksaw Ridge (2016). Garfield's professional career started in the theatre, and he made his first television appearance on the show Sugar Rush in the year 2006 prior to launching his film debut Mumbo Jumbo in 2007. In 2010, he gained notoriety for his character in The Social Network. He then portrayed Spider-Man, the beloved character from the latest movie version, directed by Marc Webb. He is the son of American Richard Garfield and British Lynn Hillman and has an older brother who is named Ben. In the year 2003, his family relocated into Surrey England. In his early years the actor was involved in many school productions, and began taking acting classes. In London, he took his first stage steps at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
