Cheney has accepted the Republican vice presidential nomination Cheney said that he is looking at serving alongside a president who will work to achieve his goals by working across the political aisle as well as working with opposition politicians to achieve a mutual purpose. Richard Bruce Cheney, son of Richard Herbert Cheney & Marjorie Lauraine Dickey was born on the 30th of January, 1941 at Lincoln Nebraska. Cheney relocated to Casper, Wyoming with his family at the age of 13. His father, who worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, directed the soil conservation district in Casper.
